How to Add Manual Stocks by Ticker

Strabo uses the Google Finance API to collect up to date stock prices so you can track your stock investments manually as well as syncing accounts.

In order to be able to connect your stock or fund, we need two things. Firstly, the ticker - all stocks and funds will have an abbreviated set of letters denoting their name. The second thing we need is the market - Google finance provides this when you search for a stock or fund in the search bar.

Examples:

  • Ticker: the ticker for Nvidia is NVDA

  • Market: the market symbol for the NASDAQ is NASDAQ

Note: when you look up a stock on Google search, they will usually provide the ticker and market in the corner in the form:

MARKET:TICKER
